Diego Milito has urged Inter Milan to buy Genoa forward Rodrigo Palacio, stating he would be happy to play with his compatriot.
Palacio has been in fine form this season, bagging 12 goals in only 16 Serie A appearances to date, and his prowess in front of goal has prompted the Inter marksman Milito to talk up his fellow Argentine.
Palacio is doing very well, and I d be happy if he came to a big club like Inter, Milito told ESPN Radio Rivadavia.
Milito also touched on the chances of his return to former team Racing Club for one final swansong, and revealed his agent has spoken to the Argentine outfit about a possible transfer, but intends to stick with Inter for a further two years.
There has been no (official) contact with Racing, but my agent has spoken with them to see if there was a possibility of me returning, Milito said.
I do not know what will happen in six months, but I plan to stay here for two more years, although it depends on many things.
Milito joined Inter prior to the 2009-10 season after stints at Racing, Real Zaragoza and Genoa.
